Itinerary

Day01 Transfer From Chandigarh to Narkanda(190 Kms,5-6 Hours)

The first day starts with Arrival at Chandigarh Airport. From there, you will be taken to Sarahan via Shimla by Car. It is 265 Kms which will take about 8-9 hours. You will be witnessing all over the route the snow-capped Shivalik ranges extending some remarkable glimpses of the mighty Himalayas.
On the way, we will cover the villages of Fagu, Theog, Matiana, Narkanda Apple orchards and Hattu peak. Have the fantastic views of the spectacular mighty Central Himalayas. For the day, you will be staying at Narkanda.

Day02 Transfer From Narkanda to Sangla(161 Kms,7-8 Hours)

After breakfast, at the narkanda hotel, you will checkout and continue to Kinnaur Sangla via Rampur, which is the gateway to Kinnaur valley. We will hit the Hattu peak at 11,154 feet at

Narkanda from where you can have a panoramic glimpse of the mighty Central Himalayas and will also visit the traditional wooden formed temple of Goddess Kali on the top. We will make you see the temple of Bhimakali at Sarahan, Hawa Mahal, Cricket Ground, Oldest Mahal of King of Himachal. After seeing these attractions, we will proceed with our drive to Sangla Valley.  Then is the Overnight stay in Hotel in Sangla Valley.

Day03 Local Sightseeing of Chitkul Sangla Valley

After breakfast at Sangla and visiting Kamru village and then during a short walk to visit Kamru Fort, the temple of Kamakshi Devi. This full village is located on the right bank of the Baspa River, which is at an elevation of 2621 m above the sea level, the place is developed on a slope with the house building one above the other.
Then comes the Chitkul, which is a village in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border. The end of Indian road at this place. The terrain and green vegetation of the position on the inclines are not very steep. After making you see the gigantic Kinner Kailash peak, you will have an Overnight stay at Sangla.

Day04 Sangla to Kalpa Local Sightseeing 2,759 metres / 9,048 feet (40 km/ 2-3 hrs)

In the morning, after you have your breakfast, then you will be driven to Kalpa village a 2-3 hrs drive, and Enroute we will stop at Recongpeo, you can have a walk around the local market. Recongpeo is the division headquarters of Kinnaur district. You can enjoy Indian or Tibetian food cuisine.

After lunch, we will tour the Kalpa village and the nearby Roghi village. Get amazed by the villages which are coated with thick pine forests and are famous for apricots and apples. Enjoy the snowy peaks with crimson and gold light. Kalpa is situated at an altitude of 2759 m from the sea level, on the old Hindustan Tibet Road at a distance of 260 km from Shimla. Earlier it was the District Headquarter of Kinnaur. Then Overnight, you will stay in the hotel in Kalpa Valley.

Day05 Kalpa to Tabo 3,050 metres / 10010 feet (150 km / 8-9 hrs)

This day is fixed for the drive to Tabo, which is a 9 -10  hrs long journey. En route, we will direct you through Puh and Nako, where we will attend Nako Lake and village, followed by lunch in Nako. Then after this en route, we will tour the Gue village, which is also the last Indian village on the Indo-Tibetan border. You will see here the naturally frozen mummy of a Buddhist monk who was located here while making the road. Next up is stay at Tabo hotel. Here you enter the beautiful Spiti valley, which is also known as the cold desert of the Himalayas, a densely snowing area.

Day06 Tabo to Kaza 3,200 metres / 10,500 feet, (50 kms / 2-3 hrs).

After breakfast, we will head towards the Tabo monastery, the oldest monastery in the Himalayas. Then we go for the drive to Kaza, which will take 3 hrs. En route, we will tour the Dhankar village and Dhankar monastery and fort. Here you can enjoy a cup of tea or lunch with a local family. Later on, we proceed with our drive to Kaza, where you will check-in at your hotel. In the evening, you can explore the Kaza market.

Day07 Sightseeing around Kaza (5-6 hrs).

Have a fantastic breakfast at the starting of the day after that you will be driven to the village of Lagnza. Walk around the town. And visit the monastery at the top of the city and, on the way, look out for fossils. See the yak working in the fields and click memories for a lifetime in the beautiful hills. 
If the weather remains stable, we will go for Hikkim, and the Comic village, the world’s highest village joining the motorable road. Then comes our drive to Kee Monastery and the village of Kibber, the world’s most top community. You can enjoy the nearby mountains where there are big herds of Himalayan blue sheep and snow ibex gather in the evening. Lunch will be at Kibber village, in a local restaurant, offering delicious Tibetan dishes. In the evening, we will return to Kaza for a second night at the hotel.

Day08 Kaza to Chandratal Lake(114 Kms,5-6 Hours)

The morning after breakfast we leave for Chandratal Lake by crossing Kunzam Pass at 15,100ft and then thereafter we will reach Baltal. Then we will change a vehicle to Sumo to advance to Chandratal lake.
On the way, you will see the majestic representation of CB Ranges Peaks. Witness the Deep Blue Water that is the Source Of The River Chandra, and according to some believers, it is the Spot From Where The God Indra`S Chariot Took The Eldest Pandava Brother, enjoy the Leisures to the generosity of the beautiful lake and natural circled Snow peaks. Then we roll for the Camping at Chandratal Lake.

Day09 Chandratal Lake To Keylong(114 Kms,5-6 Hours)

Today Morning after breakfast, we head Keylong, and we will reach the place by evening. You can have sightseeing on the site after checking in to the hotel and then the Overnight stay at the same hotel as Keylong.

Day10 Keylong-Udaipur-Trilokinath TempleLocal sightseeing

The Morning after breakfast, we will head towards the Kardang Monastery, Shaspur Monastery,Tayul Monastery, Udaipur, Trilokinath Temple. After viewing the glories of these ancient monuments, we will stay at the Hotel.

Day11 Keylong to Manali 2,050 metres / 6,726 feet ( 130 kms /06 hrs)

Today we will start early around 06: 30 A.M. The longest day’s journey of your trip that is the drive to Manali, you will stop for breakfast and lunch in between, but we will proceed our journey over the Rohtang pass, and then we will enter Manali valley. After reaching Manali in the evening, we will check-in at the hotel and relax.

Day12 Manali to Chandigarh (310 kms – 09-10 hrs)

Say Adios to the majestic mountains and the 12 days long trip. Today after breakfast, we will drive you to Chandigarh via Kullu, Hanogi Devi temple, and Pandoh Dam.  Next up is our drive to Chandigarh and then will arrive in Delhi by evening.
